Okay, so I think I may have baked these for too long or the waffle iron just baked this at such a high heat, because Ken complained that they were too dry. But it sure beat firing up the oven! The texture was a little off. More of like a cakey texture, but I thoroughly enjoyed these myself last night, with some whipped cream! Not to mention, the whole house smelled of heavenly brownies the entire evening! I loved drifting off to sleep with that chocolatey smell still in the air!
It's mesmerizing stirring the chocolate mixture together, but I certainly didn't want to stir for too long. Brownies need to be thick and chewy! Too much stirring of the batter, would cause a lot of air to form, which you don't want! Dense is the word I'm looking for!
