Deviled Eggs

I recently hosted a barbecue and I made these for the appetizer. Grampa exclaimed that he wanted a whole plate to himself! I thought the yolk mixture too pasty and thick, even when I added more mayo than what the recipe was calling for. But everyone disagreed and they were quickly consumed as dinner was being served! (And yes, of course these were sprinkled with paprika before being served to my guests!)

The whole time as I was piping the paste into the empty egg white openings, I thought to myself what a silly thing this is to do! Meaning, all that's being done is just making the consistency super creamy and adding seasonings to make these delicacies pop with flavor! Maybe it's just me, but I found the concept very funny when making these!
