To my non-egg lover readers! This one's for you! This evening, I made a lot of green egg filled potatoes! It's quite possibly a perfect recipe for those who have a sensitivity and texture issue to the whites of an egg. I, for one, am not a big "egg eater" myself, but I absolutely LOVE potatoes!
Question: Do you know the proper way to boil an egg? Well, I thought I did...until I was reading the instructions and I totally misread how they wanted me to boil the eggs! Embarrassing moment! I then had to sit myself down and watched a video on how to boil eggs. I don't know what I was thinking dropping the eggs in the water AFTER the water hit a bubbly boil! Rookie mistake! No Savannah you must put the eggs in cold water till the water boils in the pot then take them off and let them sit in the hot water for 12 minutes! Silly me...🙂
Short end to the story, Ken & I were not the biggest fans of these appetizers. We like the idea of them, but it just felt like it was missing an ingredient. (And yes, I DID end up adding paprika after I took the picture, which helped.) So there you have it. As the story goes, "...I do not like green eggs & ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-Am"
